Simple UDP Server in Node.js (dgram example)

The NodeJS environment has a dgram package which can be used to create udp server/clients that can be used to interact with different components of an architecture other than a typical web browser. Let’s say we have real time OpenCV or C++ program wanting to send data to a nodejs server (it can also be say a heartbeat), we can do it by creating a simple UDP listener or sender (server or client) in NodeJS using Datagram sockets. A Simple example is here:

 

 

Now just run this datagram.js and you can get output like:
